The author, formerly known as Aunt Kimmie Bebo, has written and published her books under a few different names. But be assured, darlings, her mission has always been the same.
To Spread…
MAGIC,
WISDOM,
WHIMSY,
and, OF COURSE,
PERMISSION to TWIRL through life with joy and intention!
Her professional writing career began with a weekly column themed around Hospitality that was featured in the Local Planet and The Cheney Free Press.
She also worked as a Freelance writer contributing to Sizzle Magazine.
Her book publishing adventure began with Magic Sprinkles (2010), now out of print but still very much alive in spirit. This book was followed the next year by The Goodies New Pond. Both Children’s books were illustrated by the late Jim Battell — the beloved Spokane Dumpster Artist — his whimsical creations danced beautifully alongside her words.
Darlings, the magic was truly mutual.
She teaches writing workshops at elementary schools, and also offers private tutoring sessions to help kids improve their writing skills.
She enjoys working with anyone who feels called to write, but just needs a little help getting into the TWIRL of it.
She is most passionate about helping seniors to leave their own legacy of words on the page. She truly delights in helping them write the stories of their lives.

Welcome! Artfully Crafted Hospitality
This little book is the distillation of more than 40 years working in the hospitality industry — a lifetime spent serving, observing, learning, and celebrating the quiet power of genuine human connection. Along the way, I’ve come to understand just how meaningful hospitality truly is and how it can change the world one positive interaction at a time.
Inside, you’ll find practical insights, thoughtful perspective, and time-tested wisdom designed to elevate both the guest experience and the spirit of the people providing it. Whether you run a bustling restaurant, a cozy café, a bar, a venue, or any business that serves food or drink, these principles can help strengthen culture, enhance service, and naturally support healthier revenue.
And if you’re already working in hospitality yourself, this book offers the kind of perspective that often leads to greater confidence, stronger connections with guests, and — very often — noticeably better tips.
A small book, a big impact, and a heartfelt celebration of the art of welcoming well.

Goosie's New Pond
Goosie’s New Pond
“This adorable tale that will enchant, enthrall, educate, and entertain kids in equal measure. The Goosie’s New Pond follows Gerty and Gladys, two geese who have a very big decision to make. Will they play it safe or fly the flock and venture into the unknown? And what will Papa Jack say?”
-Katherine Kay, Freelance writer
“The Goosie’s New Pond gives insight on why change can be a positive instead of a negative. It allows kids to work through their fears in a delightful way and encourages them to participate in their own story. Brilliant!”
-Anne MaKay, Teacher
“Aunt Kimmie works her storytelling magic in another terrific tale. Illustrator J. R. Battell has created whimsical and unique images that will capture a child’s imagination and stay with them long after the last page is turned.”
-Barbara Stanley, TalK Show Host, This Week in Gallup (New Mexico).
